Grooming
Why should I get my dog groomed?
Grooming your pet is very important. Contrary to beliefs, dogs are not wild animals. Just like people, proper hygiene is important to the health and happiness of your pet. Grooming is good and a great source of early detection for health issues. Many tumors or lumps are detected first by your groomer during the grooming process.
How often should I get my dog groomed?
For dogs with shorter hair, every 6 to 8 weeks with regular brushing is recommended. Dogs with longer thinker coats every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended with regular brushing.
Cats can really benefit from grooming. Although cats are great at cleaning themselves, a little help never hurts. Grooming your cat also helps prevent hairballs.
How long will it take to have my dog groomed?
A full groom normally takes 2-3 hours for small to medium dogs and 3-4 hours for larger dogs. Unless otherwise discussed with groomer.
For cats it's normally 3-4 hours. Unless otherwise discussed.
